This poem written for my man who I was engaged too
I sit here at my keyboard thinking of you,
So far away hoping to hear from you.
Not once have I heard anything,
Wondering how you are or what you are doing.
Hoping you are fine, or where are you,
Hoping to hear you say want to chat.
Wondering if you will call tonight.
With not knowing anything, I called but no answer.
I miss hearing from you,
I want to come to see you.
But a little afraid, that you will reject me,
And maybe that's how you feel.
Hoping that I am imaging this,
But if you would only call and tell me.
Then I wouldn't be afraid,
And maybe once we meet things will be fine.
Not once did I not think of anything,
Only that I miss you.
Hoping you aren't sick, you stay where it's warm,
Can only tell you , I wish I could see you.
I would keep your picture close to my heart,
Hoping you have mind too.
I wish you were sitting next to me,
With your arms around me thinking the same.
Well I guess I will let you go,
Hoping you understand.
This poem was written from my heart,
For you, for my man.
