Sylvia Dianne Beverly “Ladi Di” has hosted the Annual Black History Festival at Iverson Mall since 2000.

During the Annual Black History Festival at Iverson Mall, she has had the opportunity to showcase a variety of poets, vocalists, and musicians.

 

Some of the poets and musicians that have appeared include, Kwame Alexander, Manifest Ra, Abena Disroe, Islam “Is” Shabazz, Jeanean Gibbs, Forestine Bynum,  Kisha Morris, Linda Beverly, Doris Thomas, Danny Queen, Greg Malveaux, Hiram Larew, Messenger, Jeffrey Duarte’, Afrika Midnight Asha Abney, Lottie Mae “Grand Ma Slam” McDonald, Teri Allen, and Collective Voices (Sylvia Dianne Beverly “Ladi Di,” Sistah Joy and Billye), Sydney March, Doc Powell, and Cynthia Brawner-Jackson. 


This event is entertaining, inspiring, informative, uplifting, friendly, family – oriented and open to the public.

 

Please join her for her 7th Annual Black History Festival held on February 17, 2007 at 2pm where she will feature Girls and Boys with Hearts and Linda Beverly.
