How to Make an Informative Decision about Estrogen, Progesterone & Other Strategies for Dealing with PMS, Menopause and Osteoporosis

I found a soul-mate and great friend. Her name is Betty Kamen, PhD and she lives in Novato, California. She is 77years-YOUNG and the author of the title of my article. Dr. Betty is dedicated to getting information out about HRT, female sexuality and the Oriental Secret of EVA.
Dr. Betty is one of the worlds' leading authorities on alternative health, hormone replacement therapy, nutrition and my soul-mate.
When I met Betty, I was taking Prem-Pro, however, I was completely unaware of the possible side-effects. I read her book, "Hormone Replacement Therapy Yes or No?" and started my withdrawal from synthetic-estrogen immediately. Do you know that one side effect is BREAST CANCER. Well, I didn't.
In the next 20 years, approximately 40 million women will enter menopause in the US alone. The medical establishment and the pharmaceutical industry will continue to take advantage of this potential for so much economic return--placing each woman in a position of having to make decisions regarding her own course of action. The trend has been toward controversial hormone replacement drugs. Dr. Kamen's book describes a better way. Woman can have their hormones harmfully manipulated or they can read this well-researched and eloquent description of safe, nontoxic and medically valid alternatives. This book also shows how PMS, menopausal symptoms and even osteoporosis can be avoided and reversed. Highly recommended by the Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients. So popular, it is now in its sixth printing - a best seller in the nutrition field and in libraries.
I believe the women of this nation deserve to know the truth about drugs and how they effect our bodies in the long run. Quality of life is sought after by the healthy people of this world. What woman would NOT want to know that the cure today could KILL her tomorrow? I am very grateful to Dr. Kamen. My neighbor, Rosemary who is a breast cancer survivor has taken this book to her Doctor.
Do you know women in Asia do not get breast cancer until they move to Hawaii or US?
I am successfully off the synthetic estrogen and am using a natural progesterone cream.
Dr. Kamen is the "GENERATION LINK" - she links knowledge regarding female sexuality from her mother's era, through her 77 year of life, combining her daughter's era (baby boomers) and up to date nutritional facts to support her BRILLIANT deductions. Betty is a priceless wealth of information. She knows answers that Doctors just don't have.

| Very well written...and great advice. All synthetic forms of human hormones are suspect. There's a huge market out there for synthetic DHEA, Melatonin, Estrogen and Testosterone...no synthetic drug is a valid alternative to the real thing. // Fine writing! |

| Great article! You are so right about synthetic ERT being harmful. I'm glad that you are trying to get the word out. There are many natural alternatives. |
