You may have found out already when you started to pursue your dreams, people don’t want to believe you can do it, and so they think it’s their job to remind you that you can’t. Or, if you do move forward, they will give you all kinds of reasons why something won’t work and they won’t support your dreams and aspirations or have trust in your innate ability.
You may have to make a tough decision and that is to leave them in the “dust” if not physically, then mentally and emotionally. It might be a parent’s opinion, cousins’, uncle, brother/sister, teacher, wife or husband. You may have to build an invisible wall around your space where doubt and fear, and hopelessness cannot filter through. There is a power within you and that power has given you the insight to follow your passion to develop whatever desire you have received in your heart.
When things are not going how you think they should, give it one more try and more try again. There are numerous ways to accomplish your dreams, and there are no limitations except we put into our own minds. Your desire or idea has been given to you with the entire “toolkit” necessary. Just be open every day to listening to the next step. See my article “How to access my good”.
There’s a very famous statement and you’ll recognize it here. It is, “Fear not.” “Fear not and Be not afraid.” Jesus gave us that statement for a reason and it’s repeated over and over in the Bible so we can “get” it. Fear creates problems with our health and emotions and worry is its cohort. You cannot accomplish anything when you align and agree with these two thieves, fear and worry. Those are the two key pairs that keep you from seeing your goals manifested.
If you need to do this repeatedly, I would highly recommend you write the items down on paper that you are discouraged about and write this statement on another sheet, “I align with the truth of my being. I align with encouragement, confidence, persistence, courage and Universal Mind and I allow nothing to hinder my progress or get in the way of my success as long as I do not harm anyone.” Then take these papers and burn them or throw the paper into the wastebasket that has the discouraging thoughts on them. Leave yourself open to the positively energized written words to be expanded by your faith.
When you no longer resist discouragement, making it real for yourself, then you’ll start to see what has been waiting for you to experience. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fruit of your labor and you'll find you have blessed others with the benefits of your dream minus discouragement as a by-product.
Tips:
Put all unwanted thoughts of discouragement into the wastebasket (the act of surrendering and thereby allowing your good to come to you.)
Do things that prove to yourself you do not allow discouragement to take up residence within your heart any longer. Take a deep breath!
