This list is not assembled in any chronological fashion; in fact this list of contributional firsts and improved items is exclusive according to what affects our lives and has the greatest apex impact on our modern American cultural society.   Some of thing listed below are Americanized improvements to the original ideas.

For every Person on this list be mindful that many others who did not or could not get Patents because of there racial & social status in America. This sometimes resulted in stolen ideas.
