I was asked by a concerned citizen from California,“don’t you think you might be releasing too much information about police tactics and procedures to the public”? She further wondered, “you might be helping criminals as well”. My answer, there is no doubt that criminals reading my articles will benefit. But the innocent is my primary target, and as the constitution strongly implies, as well as all state governments, it’s better that a criminal escape jail than an innocent person be jailed!

But let me tell you something else, the very police departments and it’s officers assist criminals as well. How? Ever seen the programs call Cops, CSI, Crime Scene, 48 hours, Investigative Reports, etc. Police department all over have suddenly agreed with television producers to “showcase” investigations, arrests, DNA captures, finger printing techniques and car chases. My goodness, there is even a program called “Parking Wars”, where police and law enforcement showcase citizen’s aggravation with paying parking tickets and doling out huge sums for towing! Some people actually enjoy seeing the aggravation and disgust of others go through problems! The police have made it possible. In the past, you never saw these types of shows.

If you love to watch these shows fine, (I advised that you do) I’m just saying that police departments and administrators agree to showcase them, and one has the right to benefit from watching them. I watched many of them as well, but maybe for a different reason. I try to gleam important potentially life saving information to reveal to the public!

Police shows now deal with DNA, finger printing techniques, and many other of the “latest” technologies. Why? The police departments don’t received money, so why? I’ll tell you why? They want you, the public to know, that they’re just as smart as the criminals! Well, I want you the public to be just as smart as law enforcement.

Police say they have the right to set up a radar behind a tree to ticket you on the highways, therefore, I simply believe that you have the right to know their there, (hence my support of rader detectors). Police say DNA is an important biological identifier of all humans, and can convict or exonerate, therefore, I tell you to be careful giving up your DNA without a trusted protocol and/or a search warrant. Police say that “all are presumed innocent until proven guilty”. I say, and most of you know, that’s a joke! It’s simply not true. Therefore, I tell all to protect themselves by consulting an attorney before making any statements!

Governments and law enforcement agencies don’t always have your good in mind. They don’t care about you, your son or daughter, or other love ones. It’s an invisible entity staffed by humans who go home at night and don’t think one iota about the day’s events, or what problems you have!

Do you really think a cop that issued you a $ 150.00 ticket is thinking about how you’re going to pay it? In many cases a simple “warning” could have sufficed! In the present economic times, $150.00 is a utility bill, a couple of weeks of groceries, or a major bill! He or she doesn’t have to worry about traffic tickets, because if caught speeding all he has to do is tell the cop he’s a cop. (By the way, speeders are not hard core criminals).

If arrested for a major crime and you’re innocent, do you think the police officer will set up all night worried about your bond, or your job, the trial, or your family’s concerns about you being jailed? You must take care of yourself, and use any and all information available to make it home at night. So my advice, watch as many of these shows as possible. Gleam all of the information, tactics, and tricks and use them to your advantage. Take care all!
