Since the Mexican-American war in 1846 under president James K. Polk the U.S. has had a secret policy of Global Imperialism at the behest of the one percent. Since the Mexican-American war in 1846 under president James K. Polk the U.S. has had a secret policy of Global Imperialism at the behest of the one percent. Since the mid. ‘90’s this secret has come out into the open with policy papers such as Rebuilding America’s Defense put out by the “U.S. security and defense think tank Project for a New American Century.
According to its authors many of whom have been involved with a variety of administrations going back to the ’50’s and ‘60’s, “America stands at the head of a system of alliances which includes the world’s leading democratic powers. At present the United States faces no global rival. America’s grand strategy should aim to preserve and EXTEND this advantageous position as far into the future as possible.”
“Bush wanted a unipolar global order through the control of the world’s oil reserves,” said Ashley Smith.
The reality is that the indefinite global war on terror and the war in Iraq were not about terrorist attacking us on 9/11 they were about global power and regime changes around the world to put in puppet Governments and permanent military bases meant to maintain the current global power structure of the one percent.
Al-Qaeda was never an enemy of the of the United States it was a cold War tool of the CIA and defense strategists’ and the Taliban was installed by the those same people.
“Afghanistan, an underdeveloped, tribal-based country, deemed strategically insignificant by the U.S. for decades, became a battleground for the bloodiest and costliest superpower proxy war of the 1980s,” is the opening line in a document titled, Afghanistan: The Making of U.S. Policy, 1973- 1990.
”At the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Director William Webster and his euphoric "Afghan Team" toasted ten years of effort and a multi-billion dollar project to support the anti-communist, Muslim Afghan rebels, in what had become the CIA’s largest and "most successful" covert operation ever,” said Steve Galster in an essay titled, Volume 2: Afghanistan: Lessons from the Last War.
"Just wage a total war against these tyrants; I think we will do very well and our children will sing great songs about us years from now," Said Michael Leeden of American Enterprise Institute speaking about Iraq.
“Karzai depends on the protection of the U.S., so will do whatever the U.S. says,” says Suraia Sahar
According to Rebuilding America’s Defense bases in the Middle East need to be permanent to ensure that Iraq and Iran don’t step out of line and predict that Iraq who’s capabilities had been demolished by the first Gulf War and the nearly ten years of sanction, the enforcement of “No Fly Zones and No Drive Zone,” wasn’t a threat to anyone.
The imperialist attitude of the presidency was best expressed when George Bush Jr. said on April 13, 2004 that he was “THE ULTIMATE DECISION MAKER IN THIS COUNRTY,” a notion that has been carried over into the Obama Administration.
This comment is more than just an indictment on the Bush and Obama Administrations for treason it’s also an indictment of both administrations for War Crimes and Crimes against humanity as well, “because they are War Criminals,” said Sahar.
This is demonstrated by the use of threats, lies, and misdirection against congress and the American public, to pass laws and budgets that were clearly bad for the people of this country and around the world.
Also through the numerous plans that were signed by members of their cabinets’ approving operations that they knew would likely result in the deaths of more than thirty innocent civilians or more in operations conducted around the globe is an indictment of these desk murders.
“The U.S. should pay war reparations to the Afghan and Iraqi people for their crimes against those peoples and let them decide what they wish to do with it,” said Sahar.
“Obama’s budget cutting is a smoke screen to re-orientate American imperialism,” said Smith.
But these small states aren’t the real threat the empire faces under its new appointed dictator nor, the next one, that threat is the emerging powers of the Near East like china and India.
“The next president will be a war president, no matter which one it is, Romney or Obama, because America always needs an enemy,” said Ann Wright.
Policy makers had already prepared for that eventuality as well, with its newly found control over Middle Eastern oil via, direct and proxy wars conducted by NATO and puppet governments in the region, through economic containment measures being put in place like The Transpacific Partnership which opens up cheap trade to nearly every other country in Asia except China.
The U.S. Navy has increased the number of battle groups are being increased in the South China Sea, as is the number of other bases in the region, including new bases in Australia.
“Australia is the linchpin in U.S. policy going into the 21st century,” said Write.
With the increasing use of un-manned drones in warfare and domestic security will make it easier for various administrations to sell their global wars as long as there is a scary face to put on the T.V. “the computerization and automation of U.S. warfare is terrorizing,” says Wright.
“For anyone who orders the remote controlled killing of the modern sort, such as the bombardment of a country that lacks any form of air defense, the firing of cruise missiles from a warship at sea into countries unable to respond, such as Iraq, Sudan, or Afghanistan, or, say, the unleashing of Hellfire missile from a Predator unmanned aerial vehicle controlled by pilots thousands of miles from the prospective target are no better than Adolf Eichmann,” said Chamlmers Johnson.
It is this type of amoral thinking or lack thereof, as Arendt asserts in her famed book, The banality of evil, that has led us and many others throughout history down roads of torture, totalitarianism and eventually to the complete collapse of the society.
