Trade Off's in Life

Inevitable, aren't they?

Sitting in an air conditioned office with mahogany desks and vertically shaped cubicles, a personal computer and an Internet connection, a private phone line and a steaming cup of coffee, a handsome pay and a hefty bank balance, health insurance and financial leverages; does this mark the success of a person?

People get so engrossed in their work and jobs that they tend to ignore their spouse, friends, children and all social relationships. This might drag your life in storms of confusion, destruction and lack of family peace and serenity. But where is that a person draws a line for himself and then, who is to determine that elasticity?

At times, a person needs to give in to the trade off's offered by life and embrace them with open arms. If yes, then how many tradeoffs does a person finally give in to? At times, students for the sake of education leave for abroad or are stationed in hostels, far away from the touch of a mother and the shed of a father but this is one trade off that you need to undertake. You lurk in loneliness and dread those weekends, buried in books when you could have spend this time with your family, watching a talk show, with a humongous glass of lemonade and a batch of popcorns, enjoying life with the people you love the most. But this is one trade off that a student needs to carry and this can only happen when you look into the pros and cons of a trade off and assess its benefits. While the assessment occurs, the only consideration is not the person concerned, but so many other explicit and implicit factors.

Come to think of it, how much time do we devote to the people who mean the world to us? How much effort do we undertake to actually make a difference in their lives? How much of a consideration are our loved ones in the trade off's we tend to undertake?

We usually hear scholars or experienced pupil giving out noble advises that life should be run under a regularized stream and mediocrity should be the rule of the game. How many of us, actually achieve that mark of mediocrity and even if we do, how many of us, maintain it throughout our lives?

Trade Off's are a way of choosing the most appropriate solution from the assortment of the plausible options laid down before us and evaluating their vices and virtues, so that we can step out of the previous stage of life and tread towards the next. These trade off's need to be considered with an average success rate because human error is inevitable and no one can achieve that 100% mark of perfection and success, but one can strive towards ultimate prosperity. This can not only help in the growth of a person but to a considerable extent, prevent the person from the curse of cognitive dissonance and guilt of inaccurate analysis.

Continuing with the above mentioned example, a student can continue to outperform in his academic life and shove down his sadness and deprevity of his family in the darkest alley of his brain, so that he can set his complete focus and interest in excelling in his life so that his parents can be proud of bearing that child.

Career oriented people, at times, give up the blessing of bearing kids and watching them blossom through their lives due to their complete devotion to their work. Sometimes an employee devotes more than half of his life for a firm, never even establishing a family life. Parents, oblivious of their own existence, always spend their lives raising their kids and watching them grow to be respectful human beings.

Coming forth towards the ultimatum of a conclusion, how do we define this in absolute terms? I wish I could set out my own decisions by analyzing all the tradeoffs before hand so that I know where I stand for the next 10 years in my life. But this is a runtime decision and each decision is an experience in itself, which forces the decider to comprehend the irony and complexity of life.
Each decision forcing the person to make a tradeoff makes a person more alert of the opportunity cost of that decision and one tends to be more accurate in each subsequent step. But one foremost factor that always needs to be kept forth is that in these tradeoff's, the will of the people who mean the world to us should be synchronized with our decisions, making our lives, all the more worthwhile.

This way, the world will always a better place to breathe in. Take my word
for it.

Every sentence is meaningful. Are you a computer student? "Run time" emphasizes that.
Conclusion is also good.
