And the fight is on,
Can anyone fathom the depths of my disgust?
Is it just me?

It needs to be said, and the sooner the better,

This is not a poem,

It is a tragedy, my sincerest condolences to all those affected by this misery Sandy has brought.
If weather, if, it becomes more severe in future, would it not be wise to ask the questions why, if predictions mean anything.
What if any in certainty would such questions raise, such as, maybe, is it us, is it them, is it natural, if and when?
Wow, what implications does it bring to the shape of politics, and the interest of the people? Not just oil tycoons, insurance companies, and others etc.
Will we wait, till a wider swath of destruction become the norm,
Or have the courage to admit whatever needs to be done, needs to be done now, and I would hope, the leader with conviction, intelligence and courage would move it to be initiated. Think of the big picture, as big as you can, see a restructuring of thought, and infrastructure, think of the future, think of the possibilities.
Employment a dramatic rise, cost savings in smart and newest design, housing, transportation, education, green solutions years ahead, etc, etc.
Yes dramatic expenditures would it need, most likely would double the deficit, but who gives a shit, when in the future, and that’s what we’re talking about, the dollar would buy only American. Yes the deficit would devalue the currency to near nothing, and yes it would impact foreign trade, but what in; hell are you buying that needs to come from somewhere else, what real necessity? Oil, is the only one I can think of, the solution, solve the energy crisis, and stop polluting your planet, all at the same time, put restrictions on foreign ownership, to keep America American, and in a very few short years, you’ll be there again, a rich, modern, and thriving country as you used to be. This will of course apply to the wider continent of America, just because weather patterns have not seen such dramatic cross border actions, still the ice caps are melding, the fish are dying, and all we get, is blah, blah, blah, more oil, more oil pipelines,
More dead brained solutions for a crisis that’s sure to come.
Everyone is preaching more economy, more employment, more Harvard, but to what end, if intelligent planning and awareness, of future trends are relegated to the dust bin. We can’t sustain future generations with the same old approach, if this species has intelligence, it best soon use it to restructure its impact on it’s surroundings, stop using and abusing, just because reflex and easy solutions are the easy political ends, in other words, stop shitting in you mess kit, if you want a decent lunch in future. Bless ya!©01/11/2012

The witches danced on Halloween,
Round and round they twirled,
Danced a disaster it would seem,
Manhattan, Jersey, and the rest,
The eastern seaboard all got wet,
They danced as if they were obsessed,

Flying broomsticks, houses, cars,
All danced round and round with speed,
Surely some they flew up to Mars,
All this destruction, turbulence and death,
From raging seas and winds so high,
Left all a twenty billion mess,

It was the night of Halloween,
Or just the night before,
Such night, before was never seen,
This witches brew, of hot warm air,
Escaped from politicians mouth’s
Helped bring this bitter fare,

Energy is such great thing,
If used with caution and with care,
Much comfort it would bring,
This magic want, if used unwise,
To move and shake things all about,
Again will darken grey our skies,

And as you seen on Halloween,
Come more than yearly once or twice,
Unless our act we clean,
If, should such become the norm,
We only argue who’s to blame,
Again hot air be talking up a storm.©01/11/2012

These so-called "deficits" are a travesty. The whole financial system is the problem decaying this world. Can one eat money? Thank you, Jasmin. Love and peace to you,

Stop shitting in your mess kit, if you want a decent lunch in the future.

How so very true, but unfortunately today hardly anyone in power is worrying at all about the future - all they want to know is how much money they can make right now, today - the future be damned.

PS: They also don't worry about foreign interests making the most money on our rapidly declining resources (off shore drilling, oil pipelines, uranium mining in the Grand Canyon, etc., etc.) - as long as they get their coveted pieces of gold.
