Arrogant attitude!

Humanity exept for a few, highly overated.

Arrogant attitude!

Humanity in general justifies itself only, it seems, if it can put another species at a lower level, with less value, so if something happens to a human, it portrays it as more onerous, more profound, more valuable, and more important. Judging what we as a species are capable of, with regards to our more reprehensible acts, I should think we at best might just break even, if at that. Argument I hear, if for instance a little creature is being brutally assaulted, by some mean motherfucker or some overeducated heartless researcher, for whatever God forsaken reasons, as long as it is for us, be it food, medicine, makeup or some other kind of fuck up. Who in the hell do we think we are? Factory farms, the new modern Buchenwalds, research labs too, all so we can eat more, live longer, and look better. However, that looking better, is only skin deep, isn’t it, it can’t cover up the ugliness that underlies the whole process.
And then there are the excuses, from those who are at best obtuse to the problems, and might even encourage and pay homage to such happenings. I could very well see, that if we were to abort all new babies for the next ten years, the pope would have a personal rant going and would indeed encourage every pulpit to use megaphones, yet how convenient, no such megaphone on any major pulpit to denounce the God awful cruelty we perpetrate on our other species, that by the way at least twice as innocent as we are and always will be. I hear the argument that just because, we as a species allow human homelessness, it is also perfectly alright to the same to our pets etc. reason, because we are more important, more valuable, etc. We are more enlightened, better, valuable, favoured by God etc
This same old argument that has withstood ages of dwarfed enlightenment even among the many more brilliant minds, I said brilliant minds not hearts.
What we will not do, to feed our glutinous stomachs, when it growls all enlightenment goes out the door very quickly. I hear the argument we have to feed ourselves our growing population, but I have yet to hear us being admonished to eat less, much less, and to either stop screwing and making more kids, or use condoms. Some overeducated buffoon the other day I overheard saying, we could easily have another three billion of ours on this planet. It might even be possible with an attitude of total greedy rampages, eat the planet no matter what, it might even be brilliant, but so God dam heartless in its derivative, or is it maybe that the new age philosophy heralds big brains, over big heart, and big gut, over all other applications that make us as a species in my opinion, that which we so proudly think we are, or could become. Becoming better at any thing, takes practice, when are we, who so arrogantly call ourselves the superior specie, actually start to practice that, we preach?

WWII, 20 years old, saw in a concentration camp what man can do to man and I couldn't believe it, couldn't forget those eyes that couldn't believe we where there, not just a dream or a wish; the same eyes I have seen in many "less" creatures what man do, as man in the name of man practiced in those concentration camps.
