The Garden of Eden

The Rise of Seth (Satan)

Our journey takes us back to 30,000 BC. You are at the birthplace of the Nile, the cradle of man or the Garden of Eden if you so prefer. You are among the ancient ones. The Self-Created Spirit looked across the surface of the eternal waters and saw nothing. From Pure Thought sprang existence and out of His month came the laws and principals that govern creation, and from His Soul sprang the Twa.
The myriad of spiritual and material forms are the outward manifestations of the One. In that sense, all things are divine. And, man, like all of nature, has a divine purpose. They allowed God to experience His own creation. They were His reflection in the pristine waters.

Life acting upon life, giving birth to the living.

When He breathed life into them, they lived, but when He anointed them with awareness and a will, they became like Him. From among them he appointed a king to rule the earth, one soul to guide all the others. To His chief steward, He gave the Book of Covenant, thus, crowning His king. The Book bestowed supernatural powers on the holder, connecting him with all life.
With the King as their spiritual teacher, the Twa grew to possess great powers. For untold years, they lived and took life in the garden of the Most High. Unfortunately, some of them became possessed by the power. Jealousy and envy seeped into the hearts of even the most humble and obedient.
Seth, the King’s boyhood friend and strongest of the discontents, led a revolt. Seth filled his follower’s minds with thoughts of mortality and death. To achieve immortality, a small band plotted with Seth to steal the Book of Covenant.
Using the knowledge contained in the Book, the King put down the revolt and cast out Seth and his followers from among them. Nonetheless, paradise had been lost. The poison of hatred and fear had spread, like the venom of a snake. Evil would remain ever-present, always lurking. In hopes of recapturing what was lost, the Book had to be passed on. A search began for one pure of heart. By now lesser beings had started to people the earth.
