Vacation for Congress?

Congress is set to take a vacation--from what?

Last week, President Bush said something that really stuck in my craw.

Congress was going on vacation in 26 days and they'd better get something done.

Pelosi, naturally, fired back saying something like Bush was the worst President, blah, blah, blah.

But the question that has been bugging me since this "exchange" is this:

What the hell is Congress taking a vacation from?

Not like those millstones around our necks, Senators and Representatives, are doing anything even close to real work.

Nancy Pelosi has had years of leadership to show us all what a majority of Democrats can do.

And they've done...nothing.

So, now they're all going to take a vacation?

The American People should have it so good.
