Early Monday morning, approximately 3 a. m.; Texas police found a toddler who appeared to be 2 or 3 years old in Beaumont Family Dollar Store playing with toys.
It is still a mystery how the toddler got out of his house and crossed a busy street to get to the Beaumont Family Dollar Store.
Early Monday morning, the toddler crossed the street and went to the store. The surveillance video showed the child attempting to open one door; it was locked, so, the toddler tried a second door, which was unlocked; the toddler went inside triggering a silent alarm.
Police responded to the burglar alarm to find a toddler in the store, when the police arrived, the surveillance video showed the toddler meeting them at the door and led them inside; the child showed the officers some of the cool toys.
Later that day, the toddler was turned over to his parent who was searching for the child.
I have no idea as to why the front door to that store was left unlocked. Your guess is as good as mine.
