April 30 2010, McNeil Consumer Healthcare is voluntarily recalling certain over-the-counter infants and children’s products manufactured and distributed in the United States. The products are also distributed in Canada, Tobago, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Fiji, Panama, Guatemala, Guam, Kuwait, Dubai, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic.
The voluntary recall on children and infants liquid medication is because some of the products may have inactive ingredients that may not meet internal testing requirements. Some may contain miniature particles and some may have a higher concentration of active ingredient than is specified.
The products include children and infants Tylenol, children and infants Motrin, children Zyrtec and children Benadryl.
McNeil Consumer Healthcare is recalling all lots of infants and children over-the-counter liquid products that have not yet expired.
