Today Mark's 32 years since Elvis passed Away!

Elvis Presley passed away on August 16, 1972. Today marks 32 years!

This is a Tribute to the King Of Rock and Roll!

I have been a fan of Elvis's since I was a little girl watching him explode on the Ed Sullivan Show. After that, I went to see all of his movies at the theater and the drive-in movies.  It was the best time of my life. 

I can remember exactly where I was when the announcement of his death came on the radio.  I was stunned, cried, and then went into disbelief mode.  It was a very sad day for the world of music.  Today marks 32 years since that day.  I cannot believe how fast time has flown!!

Rest In peace, love, and light, and may your spirit always sing.

There is quite a band up there in heaven.  I bet the music is spectacular!!

I always have been a great Elvis fan. Its hard to believe he's been gone so long. He left his mark on humanity and his music lives on. The world will never see another like him. I still have many of his records and can remember when I first saw him. He was something else!!!!wow..A nice tribute to him.....M

Quite apart from his phenomenal talent, Elvis seems to have been a truly caring, generous and loving human being. I read a story once about a young woman gazing in admiration at a beautiful sports car in a show room. Next thing she knew, Elvis walked out and presented her with the keys as a gift. Wow! I read a similar tale about the great Muhammad Ali also. Bless them both.
