Max Schneider captures the imagination of the reader in his fantasmical imagery to the point of combat… the story is to be continued.
Follow the students of the Dragon Training Center through the world of Entor'lend as they seek to destroy Nightshade forever. They will need all of their skill, their knowledge and their dragons to conquer an enemy made of pure evil and darkness. But first they will need to find the three ancient weapons capable of such a task. A fast paced fantasy novel that will hold any young reader's attention. You will not be able to put this fantasy book down until you have come to the very end. Only then will you realize...the adventure is only beginning.
I found the theological bent either intended or accidental, in the imagery created by the author:
- Three ancient weapons =faith, hope and charity
- Nightshade pure evil= the Devil, Satan,
I am not sure that Max intended for this imagery to convey any theological purpose, but the story is written by an 8 year old boy and who is to say what is intended of just comes out of youthful innocence?
We may have a new J.K. Rawlings, and for all of this Max is just 8 years old.
This is his first published book but I look to see many more. The book is available through normal channels but readily available on Lulu.com. ISBN 978-0-577-02988-4.
This book is a good read and appropriate for all ages.
