Here's what some authors say, who have read, 'Open Window'
"Like its title, 'Open Window', the author Jo-Etta Gravett, takes us on a journey through life's darkest moments and unseen days-that could be, if we choose to avt differently. Her poetry is simple and heartfelt, poems like, 'Child's Lament', 'Do you know me?', 'What I've learned', 'Wandering Souls', 'Rise', and 'Glory Days', are thought proking. I especially loved 'My Mother', 'My Father', and 'One Speck'. Life is an 'Open Window', take a peek and dare to dream"
-Bernice Angoh, author of 'Lemonade Street'
'I have just finished reading j. k. gravett's new book, entitled 'Open Window'. Her book is full of passion, heartbreak, warmth, deep-rooted soul emotions. I read it, in one day..could not put this book down! A lot of the pages that I read, I felt the same emotions. I am sure, that when everyone reads her book, that they will also feel the same way about it, as I did. All her descriptions, feelings, heart, and hurt, you can feel it, in this book Ms. Gravett is truly an old soul, with the eyes of a child. I would highly recommend this book for all to buy. -Jacqueline Rankine-Van Wassenhoven, author of 'A Frog named Waldor'
'I have recently read Open Window a vook of poetry, by Jo-Etta Gravett. Open Window is a book filled with such raw emotions.
