If ever you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer then I do hope that you will take on board some of the points below in your dealings with your doctor or specialist
They are by no means extensive but they are extremely important points to bear in mind.
Everyone has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests like mammograms until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's life.
Cancer is not something that just happens to you. It has a clear and definable cause. And when those causes are addressed, it can be cured. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.
When a person has cancer it shows that the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, diet and lifestyle factors. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
Cancer is a chronic (long standing) disease of the immune system. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, and the gastro-intestinal tract. This can cause sores, ulcers and thrush in the mouth, and can also cause damage to vital organs like the liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs.
The average Doctor is not trained in nutrition, and they most probably will not be able to give any nutritional advice to a cancer patient. Subsequently they will not be told what foods to avoid like the plague! Instead consult a nutritional therapist or a nutritional practitioner. for dietary advice.
Radiation, while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs. All orthodox medical treatments are indiscriminate; and damage healthy tissue as well as cancerous tissue.
Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumour size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumour destruction. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, and so the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
Furthermore, chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites. The most effective way to fight cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
WHAT DO CANCER CELLS FEED ON?
Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful to health. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. A Better alternative is sea salt.
It is also a good thing to avoid dairy foods. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. Cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya are starving cancer cells. Milk is also full of hormones due to keeping the animal producing milk continuously.
These hormones can cause cancer to form in sexual organs such as ovaries, prostate and the breast by upsetting the subtle hormone balance in the body. Don’t forget Cow’s milk is only good for baby calves!
Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic to the body and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruit help put the body into an alkaline Environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F
Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Drink plenty of fresh purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, so avoid if you can. it.
Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic build-up. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
Some supplements build up the immune system. Supplements like Indole 3 carbinol (I3C) IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, Essential fatty acids like flax seed oil attack cancer cells directly by enabling the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or Programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A pro-active and positive spirit will help the cancer patient be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.
OTHER GUIDELINES
Avoid plastic wrap in the microwave. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, Especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. We should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.
This especially applies to foods that contain fat. The combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, it is safer using glass, such as Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxins. So such things as ready meals, instant noodles and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.
Some Fast food restaurants have moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also plastic wrap is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is heated, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer three and a half years ago. I was told I needed a mastectomy, radiation and tamoxifen. Instead I healed myself using all the guidelines above. Before I discovered this, My daughter was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 19. in 1995. We listened to all the doctor's and specialists advice as to why she needed chemotherapy.
It sounded horrific but thought that was the only treatment that was available. Within a few days after the first dose she became much worse that she was before, all her hair fell out, she suffered from a bowel and bladder infection, a sore mouth and throat so she could hardly swallow. She was also terribly nauseous and couldn't keep anything down for long.
After a few weeks the specialist said the tumour was shrinking, but after just one weekend at home she returned to hospital, caught an infection in her lungs and spent the next month comatose in intensive care. Whilst she was there, her lungs started giving out despite all the medical interventions, and so there was nothing more they could do for her and the machine that was breathing for her was switched off. It was a week after her twentieth birthday when she died.
if just one person reading this article could take on board the message in this article, it would not only ensure their survival, but it would lessen the chances of the same thing happening to them. Before cancer can be picked up by diagnostic machines it must be big enough to be seen, and this may mean that it has been growing for up to 8 years. I am convinced that cancer started in me after the shock of my daughter's death, and it only came to light 8 years later in 2004.
I was frightened of cancer for obvious reasons as like most people I saw it as a death sentence. I didn't want to go down the same road for treatment with orthodox medicine, but instead looked for alternatives, and discovered during my research why cancer happened, how it is spread, and most importantly, what can be done to stop it growing and eventually kill it. There are no side effects with nutritional therapy, you feel well throughout the whole of the treatment and it can be kept up for life - in fact - it SHOULD be kept up for life!
