This is a great soup to take to a party. There's enough to share and always a big hit. Great for a family also. Kids love it.

1 CAN STEWED TOMATOES, CUT UP (OR RO-TEL IF YOU LIKE IT HOT)
1 PKG. RANCH STYLE DRESSING MIX
1 PKG. TACO SEASONING

2 CANS WHOLE KERNAL CORN (NOT DRAINED)
2 SMALL CANS TOMATO SAUCE

Jean,
Sounds good, but like Karen, don't eat much Mexican food. Allergic to jalepenos, so have to stay away. :( Do like Mexican rice, sopapillas and flautas...Mexican restaurants don't make money off of me! LOL Once in a while, a soft taco. Oh, and the chips, without salsa. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. :) LOL Will share this recipe with others who do like Mexican food. :) Well done, Jean!
(((HUGS))) and love, and Happy, Healthy New Year, Karla. |

Sounds good to most people, Jean, but I am not a fan of Mexican cookin'. Too spicy for me; even worse than Cajun!! I do like Mexican rice though (no jalapenos), and tacos; but only hard shell. That's about it. Give me Cajun anytime!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Mexican food here is King, but I never ate much of it growing up; have never liked it. |
