Scott talks about the New Year and Hope.
Got Hope? Why not Recreate Your Life Anew?
Yes, another New Year…so what you say…just another year to you? Why not allow yourself and your entire life to be recreated?
I know you have said this before that you would turn over a new leaf…you would change this or change that and it never happened. All you had were empty dreams and aspirations that were never fulfilled or realized this year?
So, what’s so wrong with hoping it can be different, even if it isn’t?
Is there really hope for you and I?
Without some hope…we become hopeless. Hopeless does not help anybody…especially ourselves.
I looked out today and as I awoke at my usual 5 AM Mountain Time and looked outside my back window I saw a full moon. It is known as a “blue moon” this morning because it does not appear on the first of January of a New Year except every 19 years or so.
Think about your age now and calculate it out another 19 years from now. How old will you be in another 19 years? I know for a lot of you that are getting older; this is a painful exercise to say the least.
I will be 78 years young…or old…depending on how it’s looked upon. Is it too late to recreate one’s self at the ripe age of 78? Of course it is…it is a matter of choice.
Many of you are so glad this year is over because of the financial upheaval and turmoil you might have experienced. You wonder in your heart if it can be different this year. Your 401K was slaughtered in the stock market; you might have lost a job, a friend, a lover, a spouse or experienced some kind of loss due to illness, or accident.
What if everything you experienced was for some kind of reason…maybe a learning experience you wanted to learn, or something else of value only you can put a value on?
If you look through distorted glasses that have been warped by ego thinking, or expectations that were trashed, you might be a little cynical about life right now. BUT, if you look through the eyes of your soul you might see a lot of value in what happened to you last year, or yesterday.
Don’t you love waking up in the morning and seeing the sun arise afresh again? This happens every 24 hours for us here on earth. With each sunrise I see a new hope appearing, a new day where things can be different if I want them to be different.
This New Year can be different to. You have the right to recreate yourself afresh my friend. You just have to breathe in hope. Yes, breathe it into your lungs as you take your next breath. Allow hope to recreate you afresh and anew.
Things don’t have to be the as they were before. They can be different, but you must make a decision that things will be different for you.
It is hard to see the big picture when your world crumbles before your eyes. It is hard to see the forest from the trees.
Why not get an elevated viewpoint of things? Why not get a birds-eye view of things instead of seeing everything as same ole, same ole?
You can soar with eagles’ wings if you look deeper into yourself. God don’t make no junk my friend. God made you, and you have a divine purpose in this earth. Without you the earth would not be the same.
Your ego-self would argue this, but it is true . You are part and parcel with your divinity and God don’t make no junk.
It is time to believe this. It is time to believe that you are the difference in the world that the world at large is looking to for help and healing.
It is not all about money…money is merely a tool to get you from point A to point B. It cannot and shouldn’t be your entire focus. Let go and let God. Soar as with eagles’ wings. Be the change you want to be in the world.
Be there for yourself first, and then you can help the world. It has got to start with you…only you!
Happy New Year!
