Scott talks about the part of you that is indestructible.
The Indomitable You!
Indomitable: Incapable of being overcome, subdued, or vanquished; unconquerable. adj.
I love the word indomitable. Did you know that you are indomitable? That the real you cannot ever be overcome, subdued, vanquished or conquered? You might not feel this in your human self; you might even feel you are totally the opposite of this word. You might feel very vulnerable and weak.
There is a part of you my friends—actually the biggest part of you—hidden from the naked eye that is bigger than you could ever imagine. It is called by many names including God— It is this indomitable part of you that can never be vanquished or destroyed.
Yes, it is obvious that the body will some day decay and fall away, but the real you, the eternal part of you that is anchored in God, the divine, cannot ever be vanquished or destroyed.
According to quantum physics, energy, which is who you are—divine energy—hidden in a clump of flesh can never be destroyed or vanquished, it can only change form. Interesting thought to say the least isn’t it?
I know we have all been told something different by someone we loved and respected but when you look at all the scientific evidence, and you listen to your heart, you will be able to discover who you really are—parts and pieces of the divine.
You see, if God created you, who is Spirit, which cannot be seen with the naked eye, is eternal and indomitable, than how can you as the created ones be any different than the one who created you? If God is eternal, than you in turn are eternal and you cannot be vanquished or destroyed even if your body dies.
You see, you are not your body, for the body is only the vehicle of the indomitable you—The Spirit of God—that resides in each and every one of us as children of God. This is not for the “chosen” few who accept Christ as savior, or who follow rules and regulations made up by religion and man, but for us all as children of our Father/Mother/Creator God.
You were taught perhaps that you were nothing more than a body. Perhaps you believe you are nothing more than your conscious mind. You might have been taught that you were a mere sinner saved by grace, or a worthless person without a certain belief in a savior that is outside of yourself. But this is not the case my friend, this treasure is hidden in earthen vessels, this treasure is inside of you and is bigger than the body, mind, or anything else in this material world we live in. It is God, the God within that is the indomitable you!
Psychologist world-wide say one of the biggest fears we have as humans is that of death. We are afraid to die. Some of the strongest among us in their faith, when at death’s door are afraid of dying. Why? Because we wonder if what we really believe is true —will we live forever—or will our memory like our human body be destroyed? Is what we believed and what was passed down to us as children from our parents really true ? Is our religion the right one, or the wrong one? All these questions could come to our mind as we approach deaths door.
I am human too, and I am sure I will wonder about the same things as you might. I might wonder if there really is a heaven or a hell. I might wonder if there really is life beyond the grave.
Well, I want you to know that you will exist beyond the grave and that there really is no death of the spiritual you—the part of you unseen by human eyes—the part of you that is like God, your creator.
If God exist, than the created will exist too. If God is eternal in nature, than so are you. If you are a material being only, than you have no hope. You have every right to be afraid because no one wants to think that their memory or life will truly end. You will not return to dust when you die, and neither will your memory or personality be vanquished or destroyed. You will continue to exist, as you existed before as a spiritual being—one in full union with God and one in full union with your brothers and sisters of the earth.
Yes, some of you will be surprised that this message of the indomitable you is only for the chosen few. This will surprise many. But the truth is, you are all divine beings hidden in an earthly body. You are not what you were told; you are what you feel inside. You are part and parcel with God—Inseparable and indestructible.
In the true st sense of the word my friend, you cannot die—only your body can. For the body is temporal, but the Spirit is indomitable. When you take this thought in an adopt it as a truth, you will find all fear leaving you. You will no longer be afraid of physical death. You will realize that physical death is only a passage way back to your true Self, which is in God, Inseparable from God and Indomitable.
