Black Jewels (cow-birds)
God’s Gifts are everywhere, even though it’s another grey cast morning. I’m feeling winter’s briskness-brrr. I am not a winter person, I feel like I am in a prison during wintertime. I wear all my insulated camouflage gear, but it is not the same. Yesterday morning while sitting outside enjoying my coffee it started to sleet on me. I'd rather sit in the sun anyway.
This morning we (Colt, Luke, Lightening & Pearl-my pups) decided to go for our morning romp in the clover field around 6:15 a/m. Then I tended to feeding the birds. During the wintertime Sarah's basin (the statue) is filled with seeds. In the warmer weather it is filled with water.
I love watching all the birds. It’s so cool when I come outside in the morning to fill up their sanctuary, they will start chirping more loudly as if they are excited. I just love how they know I will be giving them more seeds. There are a couple sparrows that will come while I’m standing there tossing out seeds & filling up the feeders. They just look at me & eat. Here are some pictures I took:
Good Morning My Lovelies…
