I have a large group of blue jays this year!
I have 10 blue jays feeding at my feeders
and also an 8 flock of female cardinals
with 6 male cardinals!!
The Call Of The Jaybird
Icicles pierce wintry silences
Cryosphere’s glistening jewel
Daggers lurking over roof tops
Adorning the prismatic holiday Yule
The call of the jaybird is wrawling
As the crow overhead seers the fields
Emitting under the snow fall’s horizon
This wonderland cascading icy yields…

Your writings are just Fine Art! I love this piece. Down here in Phoenix I do not see the Blue Jay or the Cardinal except in the phoenix zoo. Down here we the cactus wren, crows, mocking birds, and humming birds, and of course the big ones like owls,& hawks.
LOVING YOU
