Hendersonville, TN - Aaron Academy Homeschool Teacher Writes Book Trilogy.
R.G. Edwards always desired for his daughters to be in good company and since he knew that Blaise Pascal, Amadeus Mozart, Agatha Christie, Thomas Edison, and Abraham Lincoln were all homeschooled, he felt that homeschooling was a great beginning for them. But little did this Aaron Academy teacher ever dream that his teaching experience would lead to the start of a middle-grade to young-adult book trilogy. Yet, that is exactly what has happened!
"It all began innocently enough one day whilst I was inspiring the girls with some creative writing ideas, but instead they had soon turned the tables and were inspiring me. That's how the idea for 'The Eafin Lokdore Trilogy' all got started," Edwards shared. "We hope to be able to eventually share the books with homeschoolers nationwide by our mutual association with everyone who homeschools. Obviously the girls and I remain very excited over all of this!"
Having taught since 2003, R.G. Edwards has become pretty well versed in what works well for teaching. "This experience has definitely made me not only a better communicator and teacher, but also a better father!" Edwards said. "The Eafin Lokdore story is one of a very unlikely hero who grows through his experiences as the story unfolds. The story is encouraging and highlights good principles in a fun way as Eafin and his friends must battle an age-old evil. I wish everyone could read it."
"C'mon everyone, see for yourself by joining in the quest of Eafin Lokdore, our Dad has really written a cool book series. It's kinda like 'Lord of the Rings' meets 'Harry Potter'!" the Edwards girls replied.
