A thought about life

August 9, 2009

It comes and goes, we are here for a short time, some people are here for themselves while others are here to help people.  There are those who want to help, but are denied the opportunity to do so by the companies who say they are there to help people.

Recently I was denied for a position even though I have the qualifications, and I was told that I didn't have the experience yet I have been working at this place through an agency.  I know why I wasn't selected for the position, it's because I pointed out that some of the regular staff likes to fight with patients and doesn't know what they are doing when it comes to handling patients who are violent.

Bad supervisor, I was told that I would be given a call to inform me if I got the position, yet I wasn't I had to call and get lied to by the recruiter for the position.  I was told that I wasn't selected because I lacked the experience, then that theory was debunked, so I was told another story.

Amazing in this country when you stand up for yourself you are denied things that you have earned, and want to do.  They say there are no jobs, but there are people in the positions that don't deserve them, people that have no clue what it means to care for people.  They are in the jobs because they went to nursing school and think that gives them some sort of god complex.

Interesting that things of this nature happen, and yet in this country there is a push to stop healthcare reform.  This push that would keep people out of positions that they don't deserve, or that they truly want.  These people shouldn't be in positions where they are responsible for caring for people and helping them with their issues.  These people don't belong in health care because they really don't give a crap about others they are in it for money and that's all.  They should be working jobs like store clerk, but I think that even the grocery stores wouldn't hire them.

These are the people who are the reason that I am trying to get back into school to become a doctor.  For this will mean that none of these people will be able to keep me from doing what I do best which is caring for people who are sick and injured.

Then people who run the hospitals won't have a say in whether or not I am able to work and see people who need care, they will simply have to watch as I tell them that I am not hiring and they aren't able to work for me like they did to me for all of these years.

I hope these same people have fun facing their demons, because they will have them, the same people who need to learn how to treat human beings no matter what their condition, these same people who continually walk over others, because they are in a position of power.
