Easter bunnies, Chocolate or otherwise, Baskets and Colored Eggs are all fine, but they should not be the focus of Easter, we should teach our children from the start is Easter a Holy day, that we celebrate because Christ was crucified for us, but he did not stay on that cross, he rose again, Mary Magdalene was the first to see him.
How many people teach their children what Easter is really about? Easter was given to us, the gift of Salvation bought for us by the blood Christ shed on Calvary.

I work with the children in our church and I try to instill in them the importance of Easter, on a Spirtual level, I do not want them to only look forward to Easter because of the "goodies" they get, but I want them to look at Easter for what it truly is, the celebration of the ressurection of Christ, he died and rose again for our sins! He lives today!
