The Bible makes it clear that there is only one way to God, and that is through Christ. We are not God's ourselves, and no matter how enlightened we think we become we are not going to find salvation in anything other than Christ.

It seems the last couple of weeks we have heard alot about Oprah, and I must say I am not happy with her.  She has said some things against Christians that I find Offensive, while telling others she wants us to be tolerate of others beliefs.  The truth of the matter is she is not being tolerate herself, and I find comments against Evangelical Christians, which I find offensive being a born again Evangelical Christian myself

Oprah's beliefs are new age to say the least, they are a mixture of half truths with far fetched lies, such as saying we are all God's.  God created us in his image yes, but he did not create us as God's.  We are to worship the one true God.

Oprah is one of the Most powerful Woman in the world, with tons of money, more money than most of us will even imagine in a lifetime, and that does give her clout in the world, so many want to follow what she does, because we feel that maybe some of what she has will rub off on us.

The Bible makes it clear that there is only one way to God, and that is through Christ.  We are not God's ourselves, and no matter how enlightened we think we become we are not going to find salvation in anything other than Christ.

Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. - 1 Chronicles 29:11-13

The sad fact is that Christians are falling into this trap, many are reading and applying the teaching to there lives.  A New Earth has had a huge following and the sad fact is even many Evangelical Christians are choosing to live that book instead of the Bible.  Many are placing Eckhart Tolle to the level of Godhood, and that is a scary fact.

To Be Continued...

Oprah is a doorknob and the folks that hang on her every word are sheeple. Money does NOT necessarily bring more wisdom to its holder. I reference her blather in my own articles here on AuthorsDen. Be sure to take a look! I appreciate you speaking out on her! Good job.

With all due respect, Oprah is as entitled to her spiritual beliefs as you are to yours. She doesn't ask let alone demand, that anybody "follow" her -- Some do because they are natural followers and admire her for various reasons.

I may not always agree with Oprah, or share her spiritual beliefs -- But she does have as much right to speak publically about them, as you (or I) do, to speak publically about ours.

Blessings to you -

New age foolishness - Jesus said, "I AM the Way, the Truth, the Life. NO MAN (italics, mine) cometh unto the Father BUT BY ME." How more plainer can you get????

Shame - broad is the road leading to destruction.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

I used to like Oprah, but now I am not so sure. Now I know I don't. Scary how women can follow false promises; I choose to stand for the Truth, the Truth that is Christ's!!

We Christians need to stand up and shout: NO MORE!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
