I stood ever faitful notebook in hand one summer midnight. Looking into the near treetops and dreamt a little.

Edge of Darkness.

Midnight moonlight shines from on high,
As the warmth of passionate embrace,
Transports me above the light dusk cloud,
Enveloping with intensity not ever experienced,
Drawing us to utopia where past and future combine,
Lingering kisses take us through time and space,
To a far off land, of mountains and sheltered valleys,
The heat from the sun puts a smile on our face,
As we make the full committment,
To enjoy the naked tenderness of caress,
And fulfil long heartfelt desire,
My Darling:I do so much love you,

My dreams? Our dreams? I wonder, hope,
Ah the approaching dawn of reality beckons,

Returning to the midnight moonlight,
I clasp your softness tight to me,
Look deeply in your lustrous green eyes,
And feel the beating of your heart,
No spoken words in this golden moment,
I lead you to our place of destiny,
Where we can lay side by side in contentment,
"Come close to me" you whisper so softly,
"Oh yes please" I imperceptibly reply,
Two hands grasp and two hands roam free,
I glimpse an owl silhouetted in a tree hooting,
My Darling:I do so much love you.
