At 70, still learning new skills

The older I get, the more I want to learn. If only I had this ambition when I was younger.
When I turned 60, I learned to use the computer. I had started writing and was doing longhand. Until, that is, my son forced the issue by setting me up with a computer and teaching me how to use it. It was an incrediable learning curve for me and helped me complete four books in half the time it would have taken. When I turned 70, I felt it was time for me to take things a step further. I did a course in HTML. Now this was a challenge. While I now felt confident with basics, I still lacked knowledge on a lot of the terminology. But I perservered. From this, I learned the basics of web design, and a whole new world opened up for me. I have completed four web pages, two on the web, two still waiting for hosting. Please look at these. www.lovetoread.bigpondhosting.com Breaking every rule of web design is a page I made for my daughter for her birthday. Born four days after the death of her father, she is a very special person. I wanted it to be vibrant,with movement so have plenty of images gifs. and animations, probably too many for comfortable downloading. But take a look and let me know what you think.
