Five facts about poetry under the umbrella of expressive writing

Five facts about poetry under the umbrella of expressive writing

One other important language of artists who deeply need to express the thoughts, pains, love and laughter etc is poetry. It is one form that was very much considered in the then industries of music, publishing and so on. My journey to intensify the understanding of expressive poetry under the whole picture of expressive writing is not going to be stopped. To get down to the crux of the matter let me divert your attention as a reader to five facts about expressive poetry.

1. Expressive poetry acknowledges the beauty of the language.

Poetry is one aspect that artists will admit that it really dig inside of you to admire the language you are using to express yourself. It is always the case that in expressive poetry language will be used in one different but simplistic manner to beautify both the poem and the language itself.
2. Expressive poetry is poetry to be understood.

Many of the great poets have lost touch with their readers and audiences due to hiding the massage of the poems. May be the question should be asked to say who said that poetry must hide the intended massage? In expressive poetry the mood of the poems is normally displayed in the second if not the first stanza. Many great poems have these big words/terms that really need dictionary or professors of literature to help you understand. The fact is poetry is not written to poets but to all people who likes poetry. Expressive poetry is one kind/genre of poetry that you can read on your own and understand.
3. It is the art of writing.

Every one of us will agree and understand that every form of writing is built and based on details. Expressive poetry as much as is in simplistic manner of writing it predominantly in need of a good artistic thinking in the way poets/writer is putting the details to make the reader/audience to want to keep on keeping reading/listening . it really require a person prepared to knit words that every body can use but after knitting them people get amused and amazed.
4. Expressive poetry is expressive.

In all the cases expressive poetry is very much expressive in terms of the way the writer will be writing that will perpetually insist the reader to be in the same mood with the writer/reciter. In expressive poetry you are compelled that if you are reciting a sad poem you should be sad and if you are reciting a happy poem you should not be sad. You express the feeling and the mood that you are feeling or you once felt. One man once said you can not preach poverty and suffering if you never suffered and experience poverty in your life.

5. Emotional attraction
Expressive poetry will always induce emotional feelings whenever the audience/reader is really paying attention. It will always attract the reader’s inner being because its living words that speaks to the soul, spirit and then your body are like a spear that penetrate the heart with the intentions to heal or the spear that penetrate the soul to rectify the wrong you’ve been doing etc.

The greatest poetry that any one can feel and associate him/herself with being the expressive poetry. It is openly allowing writers to really dig in their brain/emotions to bring the best crop of poetry out of them in this dispensation. It is my passion and my vision as the co-CEO and the publishing managers of Dinkwe productions to make a call to all writers interested in the fraternity of expressive writing at large. Also understanding that one of our mission is to recruit new talent and produce the best out it I therefore urge those who feel that they got passion for writing please don’t hesitate to give us a call on the following number 0796519503 or you can e-mail us on we are always willing to help where we can uniting both writers and readers under one umbrella.
