Contrary to what Nobel economist Paul Krugman believes, I'm afraid he is very naive! Assuming all the information about climate change from global warming theorists is correct, the solution is not in more efficient appliances and ``cap and trade'. Cap and trade creates nothing, and is ripe for abuse and fraud; building efficient nuclear power plants is an intelligent solution that actually creates jobs and clean air. Mr Krugman thinks it is okay to slow the economy while it is depressed. That's fine for him 'cause he has a cushy job with the NYT, but what about the rest of us?
You don't get clean air and a nuclear power ban in the same sentence, let alone on planet Earth. The sooner people realise this and stop playing games with windmills and all the other diversions, the better. It's just that simple.
In the meantime we can all work towards a cleaner world, but let's think!
