JD Hamilton meets with Tuskegee Airmen at MWSA Banquet in Branson, Missouri.
Skip Vogel's new novel "Constant Bearing-Decreasing Range" received the Silver Award from the Military Writers Society of America. The award was presented at a banquet held in Branson, Missouri on 7 November 2007. JD Hamilton, upon whose diary the book is based, also attended the banquet. He is the lead character, "YN3 Lain Byrd", in this tale of naval intrigue.
Among the honored guests were two Tuskegee Airmen, recipients of the Congressional Gold Medal on 29 March 2007 for their combat record and exemplary heroism in WWII.
