Life: tiny thread, life, unwittingly perceived by irresolute minds, is but a wink, blink, heartbeat, breath, away from the most feared by animal and human environments and conditions, mortality.

Life: a tiny, fragile thread that binds us to specific purposes using variable strengths.
Life’s thread can be snapped, twisted, torn, broken, battered, and abused repeatedly, but genuinely and thoroughly broken only once.

Life: tiny thread, life, unwittingly perceived by irresolute minds, is but a wink, blink, heartbeat, breath, away from the most feared by animal and human environments and conditions, mortality.

Life: one end of the spectrum where the pendulum of existence swings delicately balanced while on the other end waits death. Both insured commonalities binding us all together, waiting for the stroke that sets imbalance into balance, equalizing the life to death ratio of existence and immortality.

Life: breathing, eating, talking, walking, decision, indecision; there one moment, bolted away in a fraction of a moment…gone as we know it earthly, forever, eternally.

Life: fragile moments that fleet away so quickly, unexpectedly, unequally, unexplainably.
Life: oftentimes, mockingly irreverent, ignorant of its Creator and caretakers.

Unaware of life’s delicate fragility until personally, profoundly, experienced, is the tiny silver thread that binds our essence between earthly propensity and perpetual eternal being; real, purposed, directed and desired, life.

Come back, oh life, oh breath, oh living,
Beat once again heart within my chest.

Rapture the thoughts of my mind which once roamed freely;
Rescue a life wasted for false and fickle pleasures of pride.

I know now what to treasure and reciprocate individually and with others.
I have learned the true lessons that only are inscrutably taught by dying.

Let my fists beat life back into my lungs.
Let my cognitive thrust enlighten awareness in my soul.

Let God lend back another time, the life He once gave so generously.
Let me pray into consciousness the essence of earthly awareness.

Too late, too spent, too fragile, too unappreciated, was this thread.
The true treasure of all, lies not earthbound, but promised eternally.
