Greece was a Hellestic Culture

sensualististic and hedonistic

was Greece

later would come Rome

and the Pax Romana

or  the Roman Peace

and something called Emperor Worship

THIS was - "Well it is not necessary but it is a VERY good idea if you do worship me"

this was taken by the emperors such as Augustus and Tiberius adn Caligula

ROME however was more so TOLERANT of CHristianity than was The Jews

The Roman Culture the Military spread and other expansions permitted the wide spread of Christianity

throughout the Empire

FINALLY in 313 to 325 AD

a young pagain Who would become emperor named Conastantine I

ACCORDIGN TO LEGEND saw a cross on the battlefield

"GO BENEATH THE BANNER OF THE CROSS" accordign to this young pagan

AND THUS The Roman Catholic CHurch was founded.

according to th elegend,

A more legitimate Roman Christian was Ignatius of ANtioch

Tole Lese

Take and Read

TAKE THE SCRITPURES AND READ THEM

1313 Edict of Milan

legally recognized Christianity across the HolY Roman Empire

which may or may not have been good

sonce Christiaity ahd been persecuted for centuries

adn there are extremeists in ALL religions, ALL, even atheists

Is it a good idea for ANY Religion ANYWHERE to be a state religion

NO!

Jesus said "MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD! WERE MY KINGDOM OF THIS WORLD
MY DISCIPLES WOULD FIGHT TO SAVE ME FROM BEING KILLED!"
