Announcement of my new novel for women.
Overcoming Abuse Subject of Author’s First Novel for Women
New Bern, North Carolina – New Bern author Susan Eileen Walker, known for her novels for young adults and children, had written her first novel for grownups. She takes on the very adult subject of emotional and sexual abuse in her latest work, a women’s fiction novel entitled She, just released from PublishAmerica of Frederick, Maryland.
Once upon a time she loved him and thought he loved her. As long as she did everything he wanted, how he wanted and when he wanted, things were fine between them. Only they weren’t and it was always her fault. Follow one woman’s journey as she breaks free from the emotional abuse that has held her captive for most of her marriage. As she grows strong and independent, she discovers that she is stronger than she thought she was, smarter than he gave her credit for and braver than anyone ever expected.
“I published this work under S. E. Walker so that children do not think this is another book for them. This is a novel for adults, though I have friends who want their older teenage daughters to read it.”
Other PublishAmerica books by Ms. Walker:
101 Borden Street
Maura’s Trunk
I Am the Quigglebush Bear
Mary of Nazareth, Pennsylvania
In addition to working on her next novel, Ms. Walker runs a one-woman medical transcription service. She also knits hats for infants and children that she donates to hospitals and children’s charities around the world and sings in the choir at her church.
