Worship for the entire human race, is mandatory, but many people fail to see its relevance or significance.
When it comes to the question of worship people have different meanings and interpretations. many fail to see the unique element that defines worship. They fail to see the target as God almighty.
I believe that ultimately, worship will take its rightful place, and be accomplished unto one purpose, that is, to glorify God the father, and maker of all things. He alone deserves all the glory, honor, power, dominion and praise. Philippians 2: 10 and 11 says that “ At the name of Jesus every knee would bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father”
Worship will no longer be an obligation, a chore or a choice. It will be a joyful act, mandated and compelled by love, and rendered from enflamed and passionate hearts. The true worshippers then will be consumed with a burning desire to worship God alone.
The picture of worship will be that of an all- encompassing, everlasting and perpetual glorious assembly for all eternity.
Worship would no longer be compartmentalized. It will persist as long as God exists. The need to spectate rather than participate would not be an option, God himself will arrest our hearts and captivate our souls, as we stand in awe of his majesty and glorious beauty. We will see Him face to face, and He alone will be the desire of all the ages.
The satisfying element then, will not be art, talent or expertise but the joy derived from an actual rendition of worship in spirit and in truth. Talent and ability will no longer be diverted for man’s glory but all the glory would be to God alone.
One crippling element that has exists in the area of worship is seductive idolatry, that tends to replace the anointing with skill, natural talent or ability. If care is not taken, talent itself can become an idol that we worship. The devil himself was guilty of this very same crime.
When worship finally takes its place, it will unfold the flaming heart of the passionate worshipper. Worship for such people, would not be a choice but a mandate fueled by love and passion.
When the fire of worship burns brightly, darkness ultimately will be eradicated and all will be drawn to the beauty of that light.
God will constantly dwell in the midst of such worship because Ps.22: 3 says “God inhabits, lives or dwells in the praises of his people” God will permanently sit upon the throne constructed not by human hands but upon that which through unanimous worship has been eternally designed and fashioned for him by his people, the very ones that He created to worship Him, in Spirit and in truth.
