Govenor Joe Manchin works tirelessly to help West Virginians. He is trying to get a law passed that will require all employers to provide health insurance to  all their employees. He has also set up a state-wide plan that offers perscriptions filled at low or no cost to those who cannot afford it. While others are talking of what they are going to do, Govenor Manchin is doing it. He is working hard to generate business, and bring new jobs to West Virginia. His efforts have been successful with new manufacturing, and technological jobs coming to the Huntington- Charelston area. His support of all our State Universities has been constant. Of course we cannot forget the Sago Mine Tragedy, and how Govenor Manchin was there to comfort the families of the twelve men who died - getting trapped underground in the mine.West Virginians face many challenges as they go about their daily lives but they  have a champion in Govenor Joe Manchin. I have to add an update to this article. Govenor Manchin just decreased our state sales tax from 6%to 3%. He understands the economic struggles that we as Americans face. He always tries to find solutions. It seems Govenor Joe never forget the plight of the "Average Joe."
