You don't see paradise surrounding you because you are not focused on the moment. The secret to seeing paradise lies in the moment: and although Einstein tells us that time is an illusion, still, things are always changing. It is an ever-changing moment, which happens in a timeless emptiness, yet filled with beauty and wonder. Focus on the moment, and you will notice that everything, no matter how subtle, including yourself, is ever changing. The universe is not consuming itself, as some might believe, there will never be an apocalypse, nothing is destroyed, there are no limits. The universe is simply reinventing itself, in the ever-changing moment. Our ignorance is found in the fact that we think there are limits, when all we have to do is look up into the night sky to see the endless, abundant, vastness of a universe we can not begin to comprehend. So just focus on right now, and step into the magnificent, mysterious, breathtaking moment, step into paradise... If you still don't see it, keep reading.

Here are a few ways of focusing on, and understanding the ever-changing moment: step back from yourself, and observe everything that is happening, within and without. Focus on one extremity of your body to the other, from the tip of your fingers, to your toes, how does it feel? Become aware of your body occupying space, pay attention to all the movements and changes within you. Pay attention to the fact that you are an observer observing even your thoughts. Then step away from the mad, babbling monkey in your head, become quiet, and use all your senses's to become aware of every sensation within your body and without. Focus on the ever changing world around you: the sweeping clouds, the wind in the trees, the flow of sounds, the changing light, or the hum of the tv, the melting shadows on the walls--no day is ever the same as the one that came before it: no movement will ever be repeated in the ever-changing moment. Paradise is found in the changing of things, you just have to see it, and enjoy the show.
