Unfortunate Anniversary of Roe v Wade, Knights of Columbus
January 20, 2010
Roe v Wade
Where has all the love gone and what have we become? When in this country, more money is spent on pet food than on baby food. Where marriage became the playing field for the battle of the sexes. When to dream becomes a nightmare. Where God and love once reigned, all that is left is the pursuit of pleasure. Where money, drugs, murder and sexual deviancy have become the daily evening entertainment of billions of lost souls.
What army on earth could fight such a terrible foe? Many think that Chinas million man army is the largest on earth. But that is not correct. The largest army on earth is the Knights of Columbus with 1.8 million strong with 30,000 Knights deployed right here in Louisiana. If we took seriously our pledge to defend the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Vicar and to defend life, no evil on earth could withstand us and the crowning virtue of charity would blossom into a nation of righteousness with Godly leaders who would defend the right to life and the sanctity of sacramental marriage. True peace would then reign.
On the eve of the 37th March For Life in Washington, D.C. commemorating the infamous Roe v Wade decision that legalized abortion and the slaughter of over 50 million babies, let the Knights of Columbus stand firm in their defense of life so that next year, we may not mourn the murder of innocent babies in the womb but process down Pennsylvania Avenue in joyous praise, The babies are free at last!
