I let the music fill
I let the music fill me as it streams in through my headphones.
It soothes, pumps up,and bosters my senses filling me with peace,
Harmony and sense that the world, my world is all good.
The lyrics induce memories, some good and some not so good but all in all it is a wonderful thing when you hear a good love song or a song that warms your heart. Its nice when you can identify with the writters words, like they somehow understand what your feeling. Be it a break up song or a song that you hear and say to yourself,"I should have had that played at my wedding." We use music for everything in our lives. How many times have you been passing by your televison set and stopped to listen to the song thier using in one of their adds. It is the universal language that fills each and every one of us.
Now I love all kinds of music and I am partial to the softer music and the songs from the 70's. I am not too sure I care for the rap. I think I will leave that to the younger genteration. Like we had the Beatles, they have thier rap. The message is all the same. We need to unite as a whole. Its the only way we will ever find peace.

Music speaks, it surely does. Some of today's music shouldn't be sung, unfortunately. However, in general, you are correct, the words speak to our hearts in many ways. I've been enjoying the Do Wop series on Public Television taking us back to the 40-60's...Most of them I remember the words!
Good thoughts... |
