When Satan tells you lies, there are defenses.
Everyone really is just using you to get what they want. You can't trust anyone, not even God. What if…?:
· Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
· 2 Timothy 1:7 “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
God won’t listen to you when you pray:
· Psalm 6:9 “The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.”
· Psalm 66:20 “Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!”
· Psalm 102: 17: “He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, and shall not despise their prayer.”
How can He still love you after what you’ve done?:
· Psalm 32:5 “I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah”
· Psalm 37:34 “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the LORD upholds him with His hand.”
· Psalm 103:8 “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.”
· Psalm 103: 12 “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
· Isaiah 38:17 “Indeed it was for my own peace that I had great bitterness; but You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, for You have cast all my sins behind Your back.”
· Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”
· Isaiah 44:22 “I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions, and like a cloud, your sins. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
· Isaiah 54:4a “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth…”
· 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
You are nothing. You have no future:
· Genesis 22:17 “…I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.”
· Isaiah 54:17a “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn.”
· Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
You have no hope against what you’re struggling with. You will never win:
· Psalm 20:1 “May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you”
· Psalm 57:1b “And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities have passed by.”
