A Tribute from the Heart
I am writing this article from my heart. On June 25, 2009 I was stunned like most of the world when entertainer Michael Jackson died. Just like many others after a while I got tired of TV Guide showing the same old stuff about the Jacksons over and over again.
Despite Michael burnout - I adored the entertainer from 1972 until his death. Soon as I thought I was over Michael Jackson - I found myself crying too much over this as if he had been a member of my own family.
What really got it for me was his daughter's incredible tribute to him being the best father in the world. Then, as she broke down in tears, my son asked me: "Mama, why don't you write a tribute to Michael and get it out of your system?"
My son's advice was a great idea. Whatever you think about Michael - his talent goes beyond compare. And, each day that progressed - I was happy to learn of Michael's legions of giving. I was able to vent my emotions the only way I knew how and appreciate a lot of things I never knew about the star. Before it was all said and done I had written "The Love He Saved."
I wanted the book to be about fantasy and how one fan loved him without expectations of money or fame and actually was able to keep a twenty-year relationship a secret. Turning the tables - my story had to be positive. And, Michael Jackson had to be the pursuing party and in this story he is head over heels for Frankie Mae fact or fiction.
The books ends with a list of Michael's charities and a chronicle of games for the family.
I raised my children to his music; I paid the ultimate tribute to a man who touched our hearts enough so that merely crying over his death - just was not enough.
I priced the book at just $12.95 so even people with some financial challenges could enjoy a nice respite from the ordinary things we hear about Michael Jackson and escape nicely through these pages.
The Love He Saved will be released on November 15, 2009 and was edited professionally by William Greenleaf of Greenleaf Services, New Mexico; it was manufactured by Cush-Malloy in Ann Arbor Michigan for Publishing Company CDM3Publishing
Publication criteria was to match the year that Michael Jackson died.
Some proceeds from sales of my new book, The Love He Saved, will be donated to a few special MJ charities.
