It is difficult at times to understand the mercy of God toward sinful people, especially those people whose life styles we find offensive. We must keep in mind that God does not turn his back on these people, even those we consider the worst of sinners, - liars, child abusers, sexually immoral, and murderers. The truth is all people have lived in a way that conflict with God’s holy character (see Rom 3:23). God desire to bring grace and reconciliation even to those who flagrantly denounce Him.
God’s desire for reconciliation with the world springs from His great sacrificial love demonstrated so dramatically through Christ’s on the cross. Reconciliation is driving force of the great commission, Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. Our part involves taking an active role in this mission through a commitment to reach out in love beyond our normal places of comfort.
If God is not willing that any be lost, then we as His followers should not be willing to turn our backs on any, no matter how seemingly reproachful they maybe. This rarely an easy task. But beloved of God, lets try our best in reaching out through the power of the gospel to the dying world.
once again, I love you all.
