What keeps you going when times are hard? What is it that keeps you

grounded when it feels like your world is falling apart? For me it is

Jesus.He has given me love which is beyond all love. But the love

he has given me isn't  to be  hidden and kept just for myself. I feel

the love given to me must be given away. Does that mean I will feel

empty and depleated? No, because Jesus always replenishes the love

within me. I never go without.

However, I have learned that I can't just keep giving without taking care

of myself. That is still a challenge for me. I want so much to give all.

Which is fine, except I want to give all - all the time!Even Jesus took time

 to pray. Even Jesus went to parties.

So, what keeps me going?My love for Jesus and the love he gives me.

Learning to take care of myself ,and  be sure I take time to have fun.

There is one other thing. My call to follow Jesus. He doesn't ask me to

follow him just when times are good. It is for all times. That is a solid

and strong belief I have.

My purpose in sharing this is that maybe you also have some of these

beliefs. Maybe what keeps you going is different than mine. I only

know we need to strengthen that belief when times are good,so that

when  times become difficult or overwhelming we know what we

believe and will follow that belief.
