Everyone has at least one great story inside of them,at least that was what I was told. But I really believe that every Author has a great novel hidden deep with in the corners of their mind but is too afarid to let it out.
I basically write what I feel, and it is not always what peple want, but as a new Author I had to learn that you can't please everyone so please yourself. It may sound harsh, but how true it is; too many times Authors want to write novel that will please their publihsers and not novels that will please their soul. I am very young but have a old soul, I remember when stories captavate your mind and soul. Why?? because writers wrote what they feel, they describe the images and situations that were going on inside of their heads to the readers. Now a days some Author and not all but some authors right to please the fans, publishers, or media. I like authors that tell the story the way that it is in their heads.
The big publishers and publishing houses get upset with these mom and pops POD firms, but to many authors this is the only way of getting their stories out to the world. Yes!! I believe that one should pay his/her dues in the publishing world, but too many times good authors are rejected and gone un-notice, most of the time is not because they are not talented, but because the publisher did not like their style or so forth and after years of getting the door slam in their faces, many went to POD and it seems to be working. The only thing that I hope will change is that the small POD's be able to advertise for their Authors like the Big Publishg Houses.
Thanks to a small Publishing house that believed in me www.E-booktime.com I got my chance to shine and all those novels I wrote from nineth grade is finally being produced, now I live to write and write to live. My series of Peter Carrot-top will be the best, I will do everything as a young Adult to keep my generations and others to come reading.
By no stretch of my Imagination do I think that I know it all, because in reality I only know about 0.00005% of what I should. I know that I still have a growth process and I know that there are still so many things for me to learn, but my biggest dreams is that I find good coaches along the way of life.and in this publishing world.
