Death (sin) is separation from God.
Mankind was created (by God) to live forever, but, because of the disobedience of the first man, Adam, we are all separated from God. Heaven is real and so is hell, but what we have been taught is only part of the story. The Bible gives us the details.

Eternal Life
Where will you spend it?
What mode will take you there?

First Class ;Coach; Standby or bumped!

When I was young, the thought of Hell was of course frightening.  The more I tried to be good the worst I became; finally I gave in to a life without God, until the pop quizzes surpassed my ability to persevere based on my own perception.  If it were not for the Word of God (the Bible) and the power of the Holy Spirit I would more than likely [still] be under the impression that the good go to heaven and everyone else are sent to hell.  That concept is easy to grasp and it is easy to teach.  Eternity is never-ending and for that reason we need to be acquainted with the scope that God has provided to bring us back to Him.

The LORD God warned Adam that if he disobeyed His command (that he should not eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil) that he would be estranged from Him.  Sin and death are interchangeable they are in fact separation from God.  Adam, the first man caused every human being after him, to be alienated from our Creator.  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23.

Some ponder [why] physical death is not the end of our existence!  The answer is because: God made us in His own image; He did not create us to live seventy, eighty or even a hundred years and then fade away forever.  When God made the world and everything in it, including mankind, He said that it was good [not] it is temporary.  “And God saw every thing that He had made, and behold, it was very good.  And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31.

Christ Jesus paid the redemption price on the cross, and on the third day He rose from the dead never to die again.  He is the first of the resurrection of the dead.  Our Redeemer died for the sin of the world, not just for His bride to be (the body of Christ-His Church).  “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”  John 1:29.

“And said, Whose daughter art thou?  tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father’s house for us to lodge in?”  Genesis 24:23. “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,” Hebrews 13:20.  “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.  And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.”  Revelation 19:7-9.

Mankind has two occasions prior to eternity to look forward to: death and after that the judgment.  “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”  Ecclesiastes 12:7.  “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27.

The road leading to eternity, divided into four quarters.

1.   First Class

2.   Coach

3.   Standby

4.   or bumped

First Class:

It is a unique blessing for all true believers to receive the only free gift (heaven), not because we are better than any other portion of the pie, but, because we have heard the truth and we believed what we have heard (by faith).  So then, we have been sealed until the day of our redemption, the day that we are called to join our Beloved Savior in heaven.  There is nothing that we can do to earn God’s exclusive grace; it is the gift of God; no one can brag that because they helped the poor and/or obeyed God’s commands that their works will give them favor; helping the poor and obeying God’s Word are what Christians do; not to puff themselves up, but, to please God.  The Holy Spirit is our director.

Because we are not guiltless we rely on the [sinless perfection of Christ Jesus].  For it is only through Him that we are saved.  One day we (who have accepted Christ Jesus as our Savior, whether dead or still alive) shall be changed from mortal (earthly) bodies, into our new immortal (glorified) bodies, to be joined with our Beloved (Christ Jesus) in heaven.  Until then, we are assured that nothing can separate us from the love of God.  “So also is the resurrection of the dead.  It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption:”  1 Corinthians 15:42.

(See: 1 Corinthians 15:39; 43-58.)

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18.

“And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”  Romans 8:23.

“If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”  Philippians 3:11.

Those referred to as coach are a combination of two anthologies of people: the Old Testament saints and those who will in the future become the Tribulation Martyred.  They will not be glorified (new bodies, soul and spirit) to become the bride of Christ and yet they shall be saved from undying damnation; their eternal home will be here on earth.  The Old Testament saints, consists of Hebrews; Jews and proselytes of yesteryear. Those who will be martyred (in the future) won’t believe that Jesus is our Savior until after the disappearance of the Church (body of Christ-the bride).  They will live in a time of trouble such as has never been seen before; it will be a component of the [day of the Lord] the segment known as the Great Tribulation (seven years of testing the world).  “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolation.”  Daniel 9:27.  “And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”  Matthew 27: 52-53.  “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”  Revelation 7:4.  “And I will give power unto My two witnesses, and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”  Revelation 11:3.

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”  Luke 21:36.

I can visualize [some] of the forerunners such as: Moses, Isaiah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Ruth, and many others, marching into the kingdom of heaven (the millennial kingdom) right here on earth.  They will be introduced to their Messiah (Jesus) for the first time.

“And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven:”  Matthew 8:11.

I don’t think that I could endure the judgments, trials and tests of the Great Tribulation Period; that is why I am thankful that I won’t have to; I already believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was qualified to take my place of the cross.

Because I am sealed until the day of redemption; I will take flight before the judgments of God; I don’t need to past any test.  Tests are given to those who need to gain something that they don’t already have.  Many people will finally see the light and they will cry out to God and He will save them.  Some will be killed because of their faith and their spirits will be lifted up to heaven to wait there until the seven years are complete.  The Great Tribulation is going to be a rutted ride and that is why those called the tribulation martyred will die.

Paul warns the church: “And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?”  Romans 2:3.

The standby group (the tribulation saved) has a lot in common with coach in that both will enter into the kingdom of heaven (here on earth) for one thousand years.  Those standing by will see Christ Jesus coming in the clouds with His armies (His angels and His wife).  Christ Jesus will destroy the works of Satan and punish those nations who harmed His chosen people the Jews.  Jesus will rule over the earth from David’s throne in Jerusalem.

“In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.”  Isaiah 45:25.

“Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.  Even so, Amen.”  Revelation 1:7.

“And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.”  Revelation 19:14.

Note: “He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth Him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.”  John 3:29.

I believe that most of the people who actually see Jesus coming in clouds will believe their own eyes; but, as the Bible indicates: blessed is he who has not seen and yet believe.  I would advise that no one attempts to wait.  The judgments that will befall mankind will prove that God keeps His Word; as it is written.  These judgments are too much to endure.  What is worst is that [not many] are preaching end time prophecy in the Churches because no one wants to hear the truth.  The churches are preaching the here and now; they are avoiding the future and the here after.

“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”  Romans 8:24-25.

Heaven or Hell is what we have been taught all of our lives and yet [even] teachers know that no one is good except God (the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit).

“And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou Me good?  none is good, save one, that is, God.”  Luke 18:19.

It is amazing that the “certain ruler” who called Jesus “Good Master” recognized Goodness and yet this young man wasn’t willing to give up his wealth to follow God.   The young ruler thought that because he did good things all of his life, that that was enough.  Today the only reason a rich person can’t get into heaven will be because they refuse to accept Christ Jesus as their Savior.  When Jesus invited the young ruler to join Him it was before He took our sin to the cross.  Many of the Jews won’t recognize that Jesus is their Messiah until after the body of Christ leaves this earth; that is the way God planned it and that is the way it will be.

“For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.”  Romans 11:25.

The bumped are those whose hearts are hardened.  They do not believe the truth; they rely on their own understanding and they continue to make the same mistakes over and over again; their hope and trust are in themselves.

They will stand before Christ Jesus at the Great White Throne Judgment (here on earth).  Those still alive (today) in this group are the ones that we need to minister to and pray that they will have ears to hear.  It is not too late for the living; “where there is life there is hope.”  Yet we see that those in this assemblage who have died are lost; even after they are (one day) raised from the grave to be judged the Bible refers to them as the dead, because they have [separated themselves from God] by refusing to accept His Son Jesus; they will always be estranged from God.  They will not have a right to the tree of eternal life.

“And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.  This is the second death.  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”  Revelation 20:11-15.

The torment of the bumped is unending; this lake burns forever and ever.  Although our mortal bodies are fragile our spirits are eternal.  Would any human being choose this fate (eternal damnation) instead of eternal life with Jesus?  Have they not seen the glory of their Creator; have they not beheld the stars the moon the sun the birth of a baby the process of dying the many marvels?  Do they not dream, do they not have a conscience do they not have a heart?

When the Word of God was/is revealed to them, they did not/will not have ears to hear.  Our duty as Christians is to share the word of God and be doers of it.  Those who are going to be bumped are looking for excuses not to believe; we can’t let our shortcomings be their pretext.

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the world of men, but, as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”  1 Thessalonians 2:13.

The last call:

“Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”  Revelation 22:14.  This is the tree that was in the Garden of Eden in the beginning.

God’s providential plan shall be fulfilled!

“I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.  I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.  And let him that heareth say, Come.  And let him that is athirst come.  And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.  For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.  And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly.  Amen.  Even so, come Lord Jesus.  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.  Amen. Revelation 22:16-21.

After these things!

Eternal Life Begins.

Hi Malcolm Watts,

What you said is what many people express.

We are living in a world full of haves and have-nots. The question is: why do people harm each other? The main reason is that they think that this temporary (physical) life is all there is and once they are dead it's all over for them. God created mankind to live forever under His guidance, but after the fall God kept His Word and turned His back on mankind. That is what death-sin is: separation from God. And as you know we are now in a mess. If people understood that [our spirits] are eternal, [hopefully] they wouldn't feel that their existence is not important. Man controls the world now, but, one day we will all have to give account of our actions (when we face God). There is a way back and that is through Christ Jesus our Redeemer. I'm not trying to make "christians" (church goers) out of anyone; the Bible teaches us and it shows us that we are to worship God, not rituals and man made customs. A true Christian knows that without the Blood sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for the whole world, that we are lost (still separated from the Father). All that God requries of us is to receive His Son so that we won't be eternally separated from Him.

You're right the Bible was written by people...but the difference between the Bible and other books written by men is that the Bible was God breathed...the men who wrote it were mere secretaries; these men were inspired by God; the whole Bible (66 books) was written by Gods chosen people the Jews; they are the forerunner of our faith.

I see proof that God exists every-time I wake up in the morning.
As I pointed out in my article; being good and helping the poor won't get you into heaven; only accepting the Fathers Son (Jesus, the Messiah) will get us into heaven (First Class Only). That is the only way.

But, if you believe that the Bible is a lie, I can only pray that one day you will change your mind (after you study it).

God Bless.

The bible was written by people. There is no proof that God exists and if he she or it existed where were they when children were screaming as they were led to the gas chambers at Treblinka. Religions of all sort are attempts to understand the cosmos and ourselves but they are not fact. There is no heaven, and no hell but generations of people have been brainwashed to believe such bosh. This doesn't mean humankind is not ethical. We must take care of one another and be loving and just towards one another. It is time for mankind to cast off the need for supreme beings and take on the task of making our world better. I know you won't agree with any of this, but this is my comment anyway. All the best, Terry
