Bring all the tithes into God's storehouse
“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse that there may be food in my house, and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it” (Malachi 3:10)

“Your words have been harsh against me, says the Lord, yet you say, what have we spoken against you? You have said it is useless to serve God; what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked as mourners before the Lord of hosts?
“(Malachi 3:12-14)

God used the Prophet Malachi as a spokesperson to voice two of the complainant that He had against us (Christians). God was not happy with that in which was happening in Malachi’s day and I believe He is not happy with us today. We will do what ever it takes to ensure that our family, our homes, jobs, and businesses are taking care of, but we will allow God’s house to go without two essence elements that are needed for the growth of His people.

In verse 10, Malachi highlights the important of ensuring that there is physical food in God’s house for those who need it. He makes it clear, that a curse will come to those who do not obey this Law of Moses.

Verse 13 and 14 covers one of the Biblical Principle of God that many Christians violate, we secretly entertain doubts about the value of the ministry that God has giving us. God’s house goes without some of the Spiritual gifts that are needed for the growth of His people.

Paul tells us not to neglect the ministry (gift) that God has giving us. (1Timothy 4:14)

Paul also lets us know that God works in believers to benefit the entire body of Christ, not just the individual Christian. Various ministries (gifts) are distributed by God for the growth of all His people. However, there are Christians with the ability to sing, but the church is short singers. There are Christians with the gift of Helps, but the church can not find helpers or they take their gift to another church that do not really need the help and sit on their gift. Then there are Christians who have the gift of administration, in their home, on the job, or maybe their business, however, the church goes without. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)

Based on God’s mercy, Paul entreats believers to use our bodies to serve God. The ministries that we have are to be used to serve God first, our family, friends, jobs and businesses second. (Romans 12:1-2)

The desire to discover, develops, and deploys the specific spiritual gifts that God has giving each believer should be like a fire blazing within us. (2 Timothy 1:6)
