 A Distinguished Gentleman

[a vision dream and interpretation ~by Sha'Tara~ ]

One of the benefits of having an open mind is of course, the impetus it gives to observation. The less judgment applied to a condition, the more of it you will absorb and comprehend. Hence, I suppose, the injunction to "love your enemies" - a sadly misunderstood concept throughout the ages, even, perhaps especially, by those who set about attempting that impossible feat. It never meant to "love" as in making them a part of your closest self, a part of your everyday life. That's a recipe for being murdered, or becoming like them. What it means is quite simple: observe them. Learn from them. They are your enemies because they fear you. Let them fear you but don't fear them: fear is the result of judgment.

Another benefit of the open mind is that it unlocks the hidden dimensions of the mind as they relate to visions and dreams. When the heart is full of judgment and preset notions, there is no way the mind can find the freedom to communicate the wonders of its infinite vistas. What would be the point? And if it did try, what would be the result but a hostile retort such as the common "bull shit!" or a firm "Get thee behind me Satan!" Indeed if the mind even suggested a possibility denied by one's brainwashed, brain-frozen condition, that would only push the individual further into denial.

I certainly haven't achieved that state of total detachment that allows one the self-empowerment to "believe all things, believe in nothing" but I have made the effort over the last three decades to enter my sleep time with my settings on maximum acceptance of whatever the dream-world has to offer. Another way of putting this is, I choose my sleep time to put my mind in complete control and full freedom to pursue whatever it is it finds worth pursuing and to communicate its discoveries with me - whomever or whatever "me" is!

So I dream constantly; dreams of such variety, complexity, intricacy, color and sound as to defy description in words given the time it would take to translate these visions into interesting and perhaps entertaining reading for someone other than myself. So for the most part I enjoy this private life and share only a small part of it with certain people I think know me well enough to understand some of the symbology I make use of in the dream-time.

Last night's dream though, may lend itself to interpretation in words and may even provide insight as well as entertainment for some. It's not a long story, so let's see where it leads.

The setting: Could be anywhere. The weather is "normal" as in neither too hot nor too cold. It's not too bright, nor cloudy or rainy either. Just right because the weather cannot be allowed to interfere in what is about to take place. With me is a Christian friend of mine (whom I will not name) and another friend whom I also will not name, but who could be called "Mr. Everybody" as in, the kind of man who is strictly of the physical realm, self-satisfied, hedonistic. So there's the three of us. We are in a perfectly square building that appears to be constructed of squared timbers approximately 3 inches thick by 5 inches wide - something I would notice because that is not a standard construction material. The wood is either very dark brown or it is painted dark brown. There is no sheathing on the walls - you can see through the timbers and there is no roof, only the framing for a ceiling and roof combination. There are no openings for doors or windows. All angles in the construct are perfectly squared, ninety degrees, no exceptions. The overall size would be approximately 25 feet by 25 feet with a ceiling -combination roof height of about ten to fifteen feet and each side faces a cardinal point exactly. The location of this building appears to be a well-tended display commercial garden - you know the kind where you go to walk through, look at plants and flowers and have weddings in, sort of like Butchart Gardens in Victoria (B.C.) or Minter Gardens in Chilliwack.

I don't recall if the three of us were standing inside this construct talking or just looking around but a man appears from the east wall and walks towards us and stops. He's about six feet tall, well proportioned, healthy chiseled features, muscular, and appears to be in his late thirties, early forties. His skin is dark or evenly tanned, his hair dark brown and he has piercing blue eyes. Without saying a word, he raises his right arm and immediately the whole building changes shape. Not the square base, but the walls go up and the roof changes into a square pyramid layout. He moves his arm and the pyramid shape changes to a three-layered stacked frame so that if you had a roof it would look like three super-mounted terraces and a square top. He continues this sleight of hand for some time, changing square layouts to rectangular shapes, higher, then lower, seemingly engrossed in his work. Meanwhile the "worldly" friend keeps commenting on the changes with such as, "Wow, cool" and "How does he do that?" and "That's amazing." My Christian friend just looks at the changes and at the man, frowns and says nothing. I concentrate on the man and know exactly who he is. I wait for developments.

The gentleman finally stops his game with the building and turns his back to Mr. Worldly as being of no consequence, or as if he was bored with the typical comments. He stares long and hard at the Christian, and I can "hear" the inside communication going on because by now the Christian is beginning to get an idea of who this is. There is a wordless challenge which is not taken. The Christian turns his head, looking at the floor. The dark gentleman sneers at the Christian, turns to me and says, "Do you think that by your silence you are creating a shadow in my world?" To which I reply, "More than even I can imagine or you wouldn't be here."

That was the end of the visual aspect of the dream. Then came the vision interpretation. Many years ago I discovered I had a gift of charisma; an ease with words and a way to turn them so people listened. I became a member of several organizations and in every case found myself on the executive. I found TV interviews challenging and fascinating. I thought my voice was terrible but when I spoke from a podium or microphone, that didn't seem to matter: people still listened. I was offered a few remarkable positions considering my limited education: that didn't seem to matter either! It was like being Nick Naylor, the spin-doctor for Big Tobacco in "Thank you for Smoking." I couldn't lose. But none of it felt right. It wasn't me!

After a near-death experience and a miraculous healing I came out of that with a new awareness. I hadn't given up on making it big, not yet, but I began to realize that the only things I could do was repeat what others had done and I saw that they had changed nothing. So I wanted something new. I gave up the limelight and the charisma. I turned inward, looking for that elusive question that would give me the answer. That was just over 30 years ago and it took that long to formulate the question which basically is, "How can I heal this world?"

During the last thirty years I learned many things about how things work on earth. I saw the treadmill people are on. I saw the wizard behind the curtain. I came face-to face with the Matrix. I understood that my earlier gifts were given to me so I could work for the Matrix. They weren't "me" at all, just a script I had been forced to memorize and some foolish hopes that "this time" it (whatever it was) would work because of this or that, because the times were right; because people were becoming smarter through education; because of scientific discoveries and technological advancement. It's so easy to believe in change as long as the change is in keeping with the program. Oh yes, I saw the program, I read it, and I understood the scam. Why revolutions, rebellions, political changes, new religions, none of that could have the least effect on bringing about the kind of change that would heal a world; that this world is desperate for.

Back to the dream-vision. The "distinguished gentleman" in question is, of course, none other than the one people refer to as the Devil. The Prince of Hades, the great god of this world and of this age. He doesn't usually make personal appearances but this is a dream so perhaps the rules change. Normally he is quite content to let his henchmen take care of business on planet earth; organizing the wars, stirring up genocides, torturing, poisoning the environment and spreading famine and disease. That all comes under the heading of profit and his underlings really believe they are better off than others when they can claim to be worth a few billions of dollars. That it makes no difference at all is quite lost on them because they can see, for a few brief moments, that it seems to make a whole lot of difference. But this is what bothered him, that I would discover the source of my success and once I understood what that meant, that I would turn away from it to seek another way; a way he could not control, perhaps could not even understand.

The major aspect of becoming "awake" spiritually is to develop this discernment. It means to stop following the same old carrot on the stick, no matter how hungry one is for results. It is to realize that nothing that has been done already can be of any use to make the kind of change that will make this planet a "paradise" if you will. Nothing that compromises with the Matrix or the system will ever work. All efforts expended to make this a better world using channels that issue from any organization, be it Religion (any religion); government (any form of government) or money (any source of that money) will fail. They will fail because they are already marked for failure through their connections. You have to come up with something new and you have to keep it pure. You have to be that new thing while at the same time be willing to die for it. And, as contradictory as this seems, you cannot join hands with others to make this happen. Once you enter into your path, it becomes yours alone and no one can either precede you or follow you. You can talk about it, of course. You can share experiences. But you cannot, ever, organize it, or organize around it! You cannot, ever, create a collective of so-called "like minds" to increase the power. All collective power is "demonic" in that it is predatory - and there is no exception to this. It takes its power from the group and from whatever the group controls, whether resources or minds. The proof is in our history. It rests in a world on the brink of social and environmental collapse. It rests in the hands of seven billion Earthians, all organized in some way or other who have no idea why they are here, nor what they should be doing.

That's why the distinguished gentleman is so concerned about one individual who has discovered this.

And welcome to the world of the change agent, the catalyst, the Avatar.

"If today you can look at any of your belief systems which yesterday you considered essential in determining who you are and can declare them no longer needed, you have awakened to the state of expanding consciousness."

An intriguing write that makes for deep contemplation. It gives me cause to feel good about the odd little path I have chosen, even though those around me are somewhat less than enthusiastic and tell me I should think more of my future.

This article made me think of my family and how they reacted when I left the Cleveland Clinc (I was a Pathology Tech. Asst.) in Cleveland, Ohio, because I wasn't happy on the treadmill. My parents and siblings chided me and insisted that I had lost my mind. I wanted to write poems. Although I haven't made money doing it, I feel good about my decision. Today, I encourage others to follow their path!!! Your words make me feel like I did the only thing I could have done to feel comfortable in my own skin. My ex-husband would burn my writings fearing I might "make it". My husband today is so supportive and laughs when he sees me excited when I get an "idea". Change the world? No, but if I am able to touch someone or make someone smile, I'm happy! Thank you, Regis!

Outsmarting the devil is quiet a feat, or even Jesus in his admonition, "Love your Enemy" You might interpret it whichever way you wish, who is to say, yours is the way. The fear of death, motivates most beings I think, to certain behaviours, in the final analysis, that is why we find all the excuses to kill before being killed, despite the offerings of his paradise. Bless ya!
