Besides this type of Danger with PROPANE - there are many instances of Back-Yard Barbecue ‘Accidents’ in Warm Weather Also - all across the Nation. GOOGLE & LEARN & CONFIRM! DON’T BECOME A STATISTIC! Hi Ed Matlack: THAT'S GOOD! 3 YRS. AGO - my regulator froze up during a really frigid cold spell - 28 or 29 degrees overnite. Woke up to a freezing trailer. Furnace & Range would not stay lit - thought I was out of propane? Left & spent nite . niece's. When returned next day . 3 pm - trailer was so full of FUMES could smell from OUTSIDE parking pad! Temp warmed to Above Freezing - Valve opened & propane Filled Trailer! ONE SPARK & KA-BOOM! If you don't have an CO (Carbon Monoxide) Sensor GET ONE! It is just like a Smoke Alarm - not trying to Scare you unnecessarily - but my experience scared the BE-JESUS out of me - that's when I had my 2 - 100 Gallon Tanks REMOVED - and installed Pellet Stove. Propane back then cost me $900 + per season - Stove paid for itself in just 2 seasons! Stove & Flue Cost $1,200. 40 pound Bags of pellets Cost $5. Each. My Trailer is 14 Ft. X 45 Ft. = 630 Square Ft. My Stove is Smallest could find . LOWE’S & Produces Heat for DOUBLE that size! I sit around in my ‘Undies’ when outside Temp is in 20’s! Right now, my Thermostat is reading 85 Degrees & I have it Programmed to kick the furnace Blower Fan on and off automatically! Each future year will Save me $600 + every year! AND IS SAFER! My Stove is a ENGLAND STOVE WORKS Product and has a Separate FRESH-AIR INTACT from Outside - it does NOT Use your internal home Oxygen! Just want you to be SAFE! Most Propane users have No Clue that this Can Happen! Low percentages of 'Accidents' BUT people have been KILLED by either Asphyxiation or Explosion!
