Obama Cairo Speech
Today, I greatly enjoyed listening to Obama's speech from Cairo. I found his speech as usual, eloquent, gracious, determined, except for a few bumps, which create some problems and must be debated.
1. He equated the Palestinian problem with the Holocaust, forgetting that the Palestinian refugees problem was not created by Israel, but rather by Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria and other Arab countries, which together attacked the newly born Jewish state in 1948 and encouraged the Palestinian refugee exodus, by ordering them to abandon their houses and their villages until victory, which never came.
2. In one strike he rehabilitated the terrorist organization Hamas and by so doing he let Abbas down
3. In one strike he let Iran continue its nuclear project, by labeling it as if it was for energy only.
4.As a want to be unifier of the world, he forgets that his success depends on first and foremost unifying the American people. By ignoring segments of our society and their aspirations and by engaging funds without limit, he in fact creates unhappiness. This alone is counterproductive.
5. Obama should first study the Bible and the Jewish history before interfering in the Jewish life and trying to resolve problems older and bigger than himself.
I would like to emphasize that the Obama administration is now in power and Mr Obama is my president. As a citizen I owe him my loyalty, and although I cannot agree with everything he does or with everything he and his administration say, I pray that God may show him the right way and give him the wisdom to deal with all that comes his way. It is my duty and privilege to express my opinion
